Small independent Russian publishers, book-selling companies and bookshops that will be invited to the fair will present their products to the visitors of the festival in the pavilions installed on the Lenin’s square.
During the literary part of the fair there are going to be lections, seminars, presentations and meetings with famous Russian literary men in the book club ‘Petrovskii’, the Nikitin’s library and also in the special pavilions.
A separate play area for children will be created on the main square. There will be master classes, readings, developing and educational games.
The fair and Platonov festival open on 8th June, 2012 on the Lenin’s Square. On that day there will be a meeting in the form of a poetic slam with one of the main participants of the event on the veranda of the club “100 Ruchiev” (“Hundertwasser“ ). This will be held by one of the outstanding Russian poets of XXI century Andrei Rodionov.
The fair is open from 8th till 10th June.
