More than five hundred people attended that night the exhibition in the Art museum named after Kramskoy. And big crowds were gathering at the concerts in Koltsovsky square.

As it was the past year, the concert of classical music at the park of the castle in Ramon had become a bright event. Probably, next year there can be shown three different programs.

Mikhail Bychkov told about the success of the relay-reading of Andrey Platonov's "The Innermost Man" on Lenin Square.

An important event of the Festival was the arrival of the Polski Theatre from Wroclaw with the play "A Piece on Mother and the Fatherland".

The performances of this project ("Life and Fate" Maly Drama Theatre staged by Lev Dodin, "Uncle Vanya" by Vakhtangov Theatre directed by Rimas Tuminas) were warmly welcomed by the public and became the dominant events of the festival.

There is no doubt that Festival Book Fair had become a successful and major cultural event that was held in the first three days of the Festival. Bychkov thanked the partner of the festival – The Book Club "Petrovsky" who helped to organize the Fair.

Bychkov told about the idea to produce the opera by Gleb Sidelnikov «Ilyich’s light bulb» («Homeland of Electricity») based on the works of Andrey Platonov for the Third Platonov Festival. This project can be put into practice together with the Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The Festival was attended by well-known theatre critics - Marina Dmitrevskaya, Grigory Zaslavsky, Alexander Vislov and Marina Davydova.
