Today marked the last day of the Book Fair in the Soviet Square.
A press-conference, dedicated to the The Caucasian Chalk Circle performance was held at the House of Jounalists. The Berliner Ensemble’s director Oliver Reese and an actress Stefanie Reinsperger spoke with the press.
During another press-conference journalists talked to the Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud and the Voronezh Festival Symphony Orchestra conductor Yuri Androsov.
In the afternoon the Duel-Parade Pushkin Games, created by the art group KTOMY and curated by the theatre artist Anastasia Nefedova, marched along Kirov Street
As part of the Theatre-Plus. Modern Drama Readings programme, Yaroslava Pulinovich presented her play Endless April on the small stage of the Chamber Theatre.
In the evening a Norwegian musician Henning Kraggerud performed at the Philharmonic Hall, accompanied by Voronezh Festival Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Androsov.
Theatre lovers could attend three performances. Voronezh Theatre For Young Spectators showed When Winter Starts to Warm Up, a piece by the Maxim Gorky Komi-Permyak Drama Theatre based on Andrei Platonov’s work. The Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted the second show of the choreographic performance Fresco (The Painting on the Wall).
The Drama Theatre named after A.Koltsov hosted the Russian premiere of the Berliner Ensemble’s performance The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
