For that reason, the Theatres Duel-Parade Pushkin Games is transferred to Kirova st. It is held on June 12, with its route passing from the Solnetchni Rai shopping mall to the Opera and Ballet Theatre where its final part, the theatre performance is to be shown. The parade starts at 14:00.
The concept of the parade, the sketches of arts objects and costumes are being created by the art-group KTOMY, led by a famous theatre artist Anastasia Nefedova.
15 art groups participate in the parade centred around the life and work of Aleksandr Pushkin. More than 120 art objects and costumes are to be presented to share young artists’ vision of the Russian literature’s classic.
Voronezh students, young artists, roller skaters and stilt walkers also participate in the parade as volunteer actors.
Security measures are to be enhanced during the parade. All spectators need to go through the gates equipped with metal detectors. You can enter the parade zone from 20-letiya Oktyabrya st., Krasnoarmeiskaya st., Kutsygina st., Mercure Hotel, the Diagnostics Centre, the Pushkin Park and the Nikitin Library.
