The participants of “The World’s Music at the chalk quarry White Well” have been announced

Lola Marsh

There is going to be the 4th great music open air with the participation of young musicians from different countries on June 10th at the Chalk Quarry White Well. It starts at 18:00 and will last till the late night. The audience staying at the lake’s beach will see the performances of the bands from Israel, Ireland and the Reunion Island.

The concert program

The headliner of the concert will be the dream-pop band from Tel Aviv Lola Marsh whose music. Today combines deep, warm, nostalgic vocals, heart-on-the-sleeve-lyrics and enchanting guitar melodies there are three more musicians in the band beside their founders Yael Shoshana Cohen (lead vocals) and Gil Landau (guitar, keyboards).

Their songs receive millions of streams on Spotify and reach first lines at the numerous top lists and are played on the radio and in the films. So, for instance, their single “Sirens” was featured in the American TV show “Scream”, produced by the Netflix and MTV, and the co-written with Madsonik song called “Drift And Fall Again”, was the soundtrack of the film “Criminal”, which stars Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Costner, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and other Hollywood famous actors.

There will be the most known songs of the band at the Chalk Quarry White Well, such as “Wishing Girl” and “You’re Mine”, as well as some compositions from their new album “Remember Roses”.

Before Lola Marsh there will be two other performers on the stage, for whom it will be the first concert in Russia. One of them is the phenomenal singer from the Reunion Island – Morgane Ji, who is called the “Creole Queen” in the press. Her works combine sensuality and wildness, rock music and folklore, and her amazing voice is compared with the vocals of Tina Turner and Anastacia.

The second band is Saint Sister. In spite of their young age the band was named “Best Irish band” by the readers of the Irish Times. Their music draws from early Celtic harp traditions, 60s folk and electronic pop to create ‘atmosfolk'—a mix of soulful vocal harmonies, dreamy synth and electro-acoustic harp.
