Street Theatres Parade: new format


The parade will be held for the first time at night!


The Street Theatre Parade of the Platonov Arts Festival takes place in Voronezh since 2014. Hoodlusters, puppeteers, mimes, acrobats, dancers, and musicians march along the Prospect Revolutsii Ave. on June 12 – the Russia Day. More than 15 000 people come to watch the Parade and take photos with unusual characters every year.

For three years, we held a parade in the daytime. This year, it will start after sunset! This means that to the traditional fantastic costumes, festive props, interactive with the audience we will add new lighting effects.

12 June, 21:00. Prospect Revolutsii Ave. Route: from the Andrey Platonov monument to the Lenin Square. Then the marchers will give several street performances in the square. The entrance is free of charge for spectators.

The name of the Street Theatres Parade and its composition will be announced later. It is already known that several street theatres from Russia and Europe will participate in the show.
