The schedule of open rehearsals and events of the festival educational programme is announced. Participation in these events is free.

WORKSHOP "Video Projects by the AES+F group"

June 3, 16:00-18:00

Art Centre "Commune" 

The workshop is hosted by the founders of the Russian art group "AES+F" Lev Evzovich and Evgeny Svyatsky. The most significant works of the art group will be shown during the class that involves open discussion with active participation of the guests. The artists will share some secrets of creating installations and video animation.

PLATONOV COLLOQIUM

Voronezh State University, Department of Russian Literature of the XX and XXI centuries, Literary Theory and Folklore

Real commentary on a text by Andrey Platonov. Guests – authors of the second volume of Andrey Platonov’s collected works Natalia Kornienko, Elena Antonova, Natalia Duzhina, Elena Papkova and Elena Rozhentseva.

Participants: actors of professional and amateur theatres, students of Voronezh Academy of Fine Arts, students of theatre studios, street theatre fans 

Anna Shishkina is the artistic director of Mr. Pejo’s Wandering Dolls theatre (Saint Petersburg). She will speak about the principles and traditions of world street theatre. During the workshop the participants will be involved in an interactive game on the methodology that has been developed throughout twenty years of the theatre working experience. Besides, they will learn the basic principles of animation of characters in masks.

LECTURE "How to Talk to Children on So Called “Difficult Topics" by Maria Bershadskaya

Maria Bershadskaya is a children’s book Russian-language writer who lives in Belarus. She is the author of a famous book "Big Little Girl" as well as the scriptwriter of "Sesame Street" TV show.

WORKSHOP “Alchemic Actor” by Lars Øyno for actors of Voronezh theatres and students of Voronezh Academy of Fine Arts

Lars Øyno is the founder and artistic director of Grusomhetens Teater, Norway. During a six-hour class the participants will learn about the concept of the Antonin Artaud’s "theatre of cruelty", which Lars Øyno and his actors are trying to follow, and about the different techniques of working with art of movement on stage and singing.
