Platonov festival has started selling tickets for a hilarious informal after-party, which will take place in BARak O’Mama café-bar on 15 June. We would like to thank and award the friends and partners of the festival. But the real treat for all the guests will be a unique show by «AVIA» rock-band at its best.
«AVIA» is one of the most remarkable Russian rock-bands, the award-winners of the legendary Rubenstein Street Rock Club festival and the characters of Aleksey Uchitel’s «Rock» documentary. They were booming all over the country in the 80s, and their recent reunion after a long break has become a dramatic event for the numerous fans.
«AVIA», a real music theatre with musicians, actors and show-men under Anton Adasinsky’s leadership, has toured all over Europe performing at rock festivals in Great Britain, Finland, Italy, Germany and other countries. «AVIA for All!» album – have to hand it to Peter Jenner, ex-producer of Pink Floyd - was reissued by Hannibal Records and awarded a four-star rating in a high-profile «Q» magazine.
«This is something we’ve never seen or heard like before!», the oldest British music weekly «Melody Maker» said about «AVIA» concerts in London. Besides, the band’s recent show at «Olympus Texture» festival in Sochi, held as a part of Sochi 2014 culture Olympics, proved a real treat for «totalitarian ska» fans.
The party in BARak O’Mama café-bar welcomes the participants of Platonov festival, its friends, partners, organizers, volunteers, journalists covering its events as well as guests who have bought the tickets for «AVIA» concert.
