Platonov Festival Afterparty which will be the third Platonov Festival unofficial closing ceremony will take place on June 16, 2013.
Festival participants, friends, partners, organizers and volunteers as well as representatives of mass media who covered the festival will be invited to the party at the largest Voronezh concert hall “Event-Hall”.
Festival management will award special prizes to the best of those who participated in organizing, conduction and informational support of Platonov festival. The exhibition of photographs that will reflect the high points of the third arts forum will be staged in the hall.
The central event of the evening will be a concert of Italian group “Gabin” that conquered great number of dance floors of Europe and America. Named after a popular French actor Jean Gabin “Gabin” became well known in 2002 due to the remix on the song of jazzman Duke Ellington “It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)”. This song became an international hit and the flagship of the group. The team combines variety of musical genres from jazz-funk and acid jazz with electronic music, latin jazz and chill-out, soul and blues to ethnic music and trance adding elements of classical music to genre compounds.
